Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 August 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By registering for or using the A11ySolutions platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service description

A11ySolutions crawls websites you register, runs automated accessibility tests (axe-core) against the pages it finds, tracks the results over time, and generates accessibility statements and evidence reports from them. A free tier is included with every account. Plans differ in how many websites you may monitor, how often they are scanned, how many pages each scan covers, and which outputs are included:

  • Free — €0: 1 website; one scheduled scan per month; up to 10 pages per scan; issue dashboard. No accessibility statements, evidence reports, alerts or exports.
  • Site — €39/month or €390/year: 1 website; weekly scheduled scans; up to 25 pages per scan; issue dashboard; accessibility statements; evidence report PDFs.
  • Pro — €99/month or €990/year: up to 5 websites; daily scheduled scans; up to 50 pages per scan; everything in Site plus regression alerts and the Markdown issue-checklist export.
  • Agency — €199/month or €1,990/year: up to 25 websites; daily scheduled scans; up to 100 pages per scan; everything in Pro plus white-label reports and the read-only client portal.

You can also start a scan manually at any time within your plan limits. We may change plan contents with notice as described in §12.

3. Account registration and security

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@a11y-solutions.online of any unauthorised use.

4. Subscription plans and payments

Subscriptions are billed in advance. Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. and are subject to Mollie's terms of service. All prices shown to consumers include VAT.

Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price until you cancel. You may cancel at any time before the renewal date from your billing dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Because this is a digital service made available immediately, at checkout we ask you to expressly agree to immediate performance and to acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the service has been supplied. If you do not give that consent, you may withdraw within 14 days.

5. Authorisation to scan

You may only add websites that you own or that you are authorised by the owner to test. By adding a website you confirm that you have that right. You are responsible for any consequences of scanning a site you were not authorised to scan, and we may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is scanning third-party sites without permission.

Our crawler identifies itself as A11ySolutionsBot, requests and honours your site's robots.txt disallow rules, stays on the same origin as the URL you registered, and stops at your plan's page cap. You can further narrow a scan with the seed-URL, include and exclude settings on each site.

6. What the Service does and does not prove

Automated testing detects only a subset of accessibility problems — commonly estimated at around 30% of WCAG issues. Many success criteria (meaningful alternative text, logical focus order, understandable language, correct use of ARIA in context) can only be judged by a human.

Accordingly, a scan result, score, accessibility statement or evidence report produced by the Service is documentation of the automated testing that was carried out. It is not a certification of conformity with WCAG 2.1, EN 301 549 or the European Accessibility Act, it is not legal advice, and it does not by itself establish that your website is compliant or shield you from enforcement. We do not guarantee any outcome of an audit, complaint or enforcement action.

7. Statements, reports and share links

Accessibility statements and evidence reports are generated from data you supply and from scans of your own site. You remain the publisher of anything you publish or hand to a third party, and you are responsible for reviewing it for accuracy and completeness before you do so.

Published statements and shared reports are reachable through unguessable links. Anyone holding the link can open the document, so treat those links as confidential and revoke them when they are no longer needed.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Scan websites you do not own and are not authorised to test.
  • Generate load intended to disrupt a website, or circumvent a site’s robots.txt or access controls.
  • Misrepresent a scan result, statement or report, for example by presenting it as an independent certification.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without notice.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and content, is owned by Just-Solutions and is protected by Dutch and international intellectual property law. You retain ownership of your websites and of the content of the statements and reports generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to crawl, process and store that content solely to provide the Service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Just-Solutions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any fine, claim or loss arising from the accessibility of your own website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Netherlands.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Your data, privacy and cookies

These Terms are to be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy, which form part of them. The Privacy Policy sets out what personal data we process, on what legal basis, who processes it on our behalf and how long we keep it; the Cookie Policy lists the cookies and local-storage entries this website uses and how to change your choice. Where those documents and these Terms differ on the processing of personal data, those documents prevail.

What a scan involves. When you register a website, our crawler requests its pages the way an ordinary visitor would (§5) and records, per scan: the URL and title of each page visited, its HTTP status, and for every issue found the rule id, its impact, the WCAG success criteria involved, the CSS selector of the element at fault and a short fragment of that element's HTML. Those fragments are copied verbatim from your pages, so if a page you register contains personal data — a staff directory, a page behind a login, user-generated content — that personal data can end up in the fragment we store. You choose which pages we scan: in respect of personal data contained in your own pages you are the controller and we process it solely on your instructions to provide the Service. Contact us at privacy@a11y-solutions.online if you require a data-processing agreement.

Your warranty. You warrant that you own every website you register or are authorised by its owner to have it tested (§5), and that you have a lawful basis for any personal data our scans copy from those pages. You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from a website you were not authorised to have scanned, or from personal data you let us copy without such a basis.

How long we keep scan data. Scan records — the pages visited and the issues found — are kept for a maximum of 24 months and are then deleted automatically, except where an evidence report or a published accessibility statement still relies on them, in which case they are kept as long as that document exists. Your account, sites, statements and reports are kept until you delete them; invoices are kept for seven years under Dutch tax law. Deleting a website or your account deletes the associated scan data. The full picture is in the Privacy Policy.

Nothing in this clause changes §6: what we store is a record of the automated tests that were run, not a certification that your website conforms to WCAG 2.1, EN 301 549 or the European Accessibility Act.
